Project Description
The Kenya Digital Economy Acceleration Project (KDEAP), financed by the World Bank and implemented by the Government of Kenya through the ICT Authority and the State Department for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), aims to strengthen Kenya’s digital economy by expanding digital infrastructure, improving digital skills, and enhancing digital government services. As part of this initiative, the project will support a national capacity-building program for approximately 2,000 TVET trainers across more than 240 institutions to integrate generative artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced digital tools into teaching, curriculum development, and competency-based assessment.
