The Global Green Growth Institute internship program (also called “Grow Green” Program) provides a unique learning opportunity for students and recent graduates from diverse academic backgrounds. The program is designed for talented and motivated individuals skilled in areas relevant to GGGI’s operations. The program allows selected candidates to gain insight into the work of the Institute and provides assistance and training in various professional fields in a multicultural environment. We encourage qualified women and men, in particular, nationals of developing countries, with diverse professional, academic, and cultural backgrounds to apply.
The GGGI Lao PDR program has been expanding across key areas of climate and sustainability, including solid waste management, sanitation, climate adaptation, energy, mobility, green finance and carbon markets. GGGI is currently working closely with the Department of Environment, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MoAE) to implement the “ASEAN-Korea Cooperation for Methane Mitigation (AKCMM) Project”, funded by the ASEAN Korea Cooperation Fund (AKFC). The project aims to achieve a regional reduction in methane emissions in the key sectors such as agriculture, waste, and energy across all ASEAN member states, including Lao PDR. With this, GGGI Lao PDR is looking for a qualified intern to join the AKCMM project team.
CURRENT OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a talented individual to work with us in the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation on Methane Mitigation (AKCMM) project in the GGGI Laos Country Program, with a focus on providing administrative and logistical support to the project team.
