UNICEF Chile’s Marketing Services department is seeking a Graphic Design intern to strengthen the internal team and support the creation of visual materials that effectively communicate UNICEF’s mission. Under the direct supervision of the Marketing Services Officer, the intern will develop graphic pieces that maintain the brand’s visual coherence and support communications and fundraising strategies. How can you make a difference? Summary of key roles/responsibilities: •Creation of graphic pieces for campaigns: Design visual materials for fundraising campaigns and local and global emergencies, maintaining UNICEF’s visual identity. •Social media materials design: Create engaging and consistent graphic content for different digital platforms, following brand guidelines. • Adaptation of global materials: Localize and adapt materials sent from the global headquarters and regional office to the Chilean context, respecting brand guidelines. •Design of institutional materials: Support in the creation of presentations, reports, stationery, and other institutional materials. •Development of advertising materials: Design advertising pieces for different media and formats, ensuring compliance with UNICEF visual standards. • Merchandising design: Create graphic proposals for promotional products and institutional merchandising. • Occasional video editing: Assist with basic audiovisual editing tasks when required. •Other design tasks: Develop other graphic projects according to the needs of the area. Necessary skills and competencies. •Dominio de Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro). •Consultation with Canva Studio. •Understanding of principles of graphic design and visual communication. •Familiarity with design for social media and digital media. •Basic knowledge of video editing. •Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. •Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. •Proactivity and ability to work independently. •Attention to detail and commitment to quality. To qualify as an advocate for every childhood… To be considered for an internship, applicants must meet the following requirements: •Be enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate degree, or have graduated within the last two years, in the areas of: Graphic Design, Advertising, Industrial Design, Visual Arts, or other related fields. •Applicants must be at least 18 years old. •Mastery of the working language of the UNICEF office in Chile: Spanish. Proficiency in another language is a plus. •Have excellent academic performance demonstrated by recent records from the university or institution. •Not have immediate relatives (e.g., father, mother, brother, sister) working in any UNICEF office; and not have other relatives in the line of authority to which the intern will report. •Additional consideration will be given to any past experience and work portfolio.
