Duties and Responsibilities BACKGROUNDThe International Trade Centre (ITC) is the joint cooperation agency of the WTO and the UN for trade-related technical assistance. Its primary objective is to assist developing countries and economies in transition to enhance their international competitiveness while taking advantage of market opportunities and increasing their exports.
The Human Resources Section has a transversal function in the organization and its aim is to ensure that ITC has the right quality of Human Resources with the appropriate skills and competencies in order to achieve its strategic and operational goals and to provide staff with a supportive, challenging and rewarding environment in order for them to fulfil their potential and maximize their contribution to the organization.
This assignment is located within the HR Data Management and Analytics (HR-DMA) unit and will collaborate with all HR units.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESUnder the direct supervision of the HR Officer and overall guidance of the Chief HR, the selected intern will:
