What we need from you:
The main responsibilities of the Devex Junior Product Owner are…
- Write concrete features to be implemented by the Product team and and prioritize them.
- Work with the Product Manager to define the scope of work to be done by developers and designers on a weekly basis
- Test new products and enhancements before they are available for users
- Measure and evaluate how the product is used and if it solves the right problem
- Conduct market research supported by ongoing conversations with development professionals to better understand the problems and needs of this community. Follow trends in media, job boards and other online tools that are relevant to our community
- Communicate the Product vision to the technical team as well as to other teams within the company
Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements
- Passion for development. You want to help the development community be more efficient and for their work to have a bigger impact
- 1-3 years of experience in the development sector: implementing development projects, writing articles on development-related topics or other
- Interested in media, social innovation and technology
- Fast learner
- Ability to make things happen, results-oriented
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to see the big picture and have an abstract discussion, while also being able to pay attention to details
- Outstanding communication and consensus building skills. You’re also comfortable taking ownership of projects and making decisions
- Leadership skills, even without direct authority
Preferred Qualifications:
