Job Description

The Management InformationSystems (MIS) Coordinator works within a multi-layered role to support the day-to-day activities of the MIS team on the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project. The MIS Coordinator tracks MIS activities, supports coordination with the global supply chain and country programs teams, facilitates meetings and events, provides calendaring support, and communicates assigned follow up duties through active note taking activities. The MIS Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a high level of communication while balancing multiple priorities, leading to effective interproject knowledge sharing.

The successful candidate will support the newly awarded GHSC - PSM project. GHSC - PSM is a 9.5 billion dollar United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded objective and the largest project in the history of USAID. The project consolidates the procurement and assistance components of the current USAID Deliver and USAID Supply Chain Management System (SCMS) programs and will be the primary vehicle through which USAID will procure and provide lifesaving commodities to partner countries. Supporting key global health initiatives in HIV/AIDS, malaria, reproductive health, and maternal and child health, the project encompasses three primary objectives: global commodity procurement and logistics; systems strengthening to support in-country supply chain management; and collaboration via strategic engagement to improve long-term global supply of health commodities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Tracks MIS activities and priorities, including the smooth implementation of the Automated Requisition Tracking Management Information System (ARTMIS).
  • Supports coordination with the Global Supply Chain and Country programs teams on MIS activities.
  • Organizes and facilitates meetings and trainings for MIS activities, including blue printing, workshops, user acceptance testing, the ARTMIS implementation working group and training.
  • Takes notes and tracks action items for meetings with USAID and other stakeholders.
  • Provides administrative support for MIS tools supported by the PSM project, including maintaining the inventory of tools, maintaining the documentation library, and facilitating meetings with vendors.
  • Provide user support on ARTMIS as needed for the Global Supply Chain and Country Programs teams.
  • Coordinating the ARTMIS training schedule.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with MIS systems or other relevant experience required
  • Knowledge and experience with supply chain management preferred.
  • Strong administrative skills, word processing abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow standard practices and procedures, receive general instruction and supervision on work progress, and make significant contribution to end results.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
