Location: Mainland China / remote Duration: 6 months, starting in September 2025
Responsibilities
Assist in the operation and maintenance of CHAI China’s social media accounts, including writing, editing, formatting, and publishing content and press releases
Support the project team in editing, optimizing, and improving various professional reports and documents
Assist in planning, producing, and editing video interviews of global health experts
Research media trends and provide content suggestions on relevant global health topics
Responsible for writing and planning activities
Support the translation and localization of communication and media materials as needed
Perform other communication and advocacy-related tasks
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral program in relevant fields (media, media studies, communications, linguistics, journalism, or related majors preferred)
Proficient in reading and understanding English with a strong command of Chinese. Able to write content in both languages as required, and translate English to Chinese based on contextual needs
Experience in new media content management and operation, with in-depth knowledge of various social media platforms
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Capable of working remotely with limited operational support
Passion for public health and international development is preferred
