USP seeks a Medical Products Regulatory System Legal Expert
with experience in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing national medical
products legislation and regulations. The expert must demonstrate a strong
understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory landscape and ecosystem in
Africa and have direct experience working with national regulatory authorities
to strengthen legal frameworks in line with applicable standards and model laws

quality resources and standards for medicines, dietary supplements, and food
ingredients. Through our resources, standards, advocacy and education, USP
helps increase the availability of quality medicines, supplements and foods for

across Africa, Asia, and South America to strengthen global supply chains and pharmaceutical
ecosystems that enable a resilient supply of quality medical products. For about three decades, USP has
delivered technical assistance and training to strengthen medical products
regulatory systems, including laboratory testing, in low- and middle-income
countries.
