Chemonics International is seeking a Mergers and Acquisitions Director. The M&A Director develops and executes Chemonics’ strategic investment goals, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic investment related initiatives that have a transformative impact on the business. The M&A Director will work closely with and support transaction leads throughout the deal process. The M&A Director will apply accounting and financial concepts to research potential acquisition targets, perform rigorous financial valuation analyses, and drive due diligence activities across large teams. Targets will span a broad range of industries, including U.S. Federal Government contracting, international development and humanitarian aid, technology, media and communications, training and education, and venture capital and private equity. As part of Chemonics’ Executive Office, the M&A Director will work closely with business leads at the enterprise, business line, and business unit levels to leverage insights from the market and industry to create and execute inorganic strategies that support Chemonics’ mission and growth and are in line with the Corporate Strategy. And, as an integral part of deal teams, the M&A Director will also work closely with leadership in Finance and the General Counsel’s office and interact daily with a wide range of enterprise and functional groups and external advisors and counterparties, including investment bankers, legal counsel, lenders, industry experts, and others. This position will have opportunities for direct interaction with senior executives and the Board of Directors that goes beyond visibility typically at this level of seniority. The Salary Range for this position is expected to be: $119,280 - $178,920.
An employee’s pay position will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
