Job Description

The National IT Officer will:

  • Set up and customise the job online platform to be used at the Regional Vocational Training and Services Centre (RVTSCDar es Salaam and Tanga
  • Train career centre staff and selected teachers who will participate in the capacity building measure on employment services on using the job online platform
  • Maintain the job online platform, carry out data cleaning and produce statistical reports upon request
  • Coordinate development and adjustment of job online platform with the Voluntary Service Overseas team working with the ICT solution in the Enhancing (Employability through Vocational Training) EEVT programme in the Regional Vocational Training and Services Centres, Mtwara and Lindi
  • Support the maintenance of computers to be used by students/graduates

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Master’s in an IT-related field
  • A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in ICT and database management
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Kiswahili
  • Right to live and work in Tanzania or East Africa
  • Available to resume work on the 18th of March 2018
