Job Description

Chemonics seeks multiple Operational Specialists for an ongoing USAID-funded activity supporting Ukraine based in Poland. The operational specialists will be responsible for operational oversight of programmatic activities, including subcontracts and grants management, compliance, finance and accounting, human resources, operations, logistics, procurement, and information technology. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people globally. The successful candidates may be based in Warsaw, Poland, or remotely elsewhere in Poland.

Positions include:

  • Grants Manager
  • Procurement Manager
  • Finance and Accounting Manager
  • Information Technology Manager
  • Human Resources Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
  • At least five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience and capability in one or more of the operational areas listed above
  • Demonstrated experience in management focused on ensuring that programmatic aspects are being implemented on-time and in accordance with the specifications of the activity
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, to prioritize multiple work assignments in an extremely fast-paced environment, to meet deadlines, and to exercise
  • Experience with USAID-funded projects preferred.
  • Fluent English and Polish required; proficiency in Ukrainian and/or Russian is preferred
