Operations Manager Kiribati National Position
The Kiribati-Australia Education Program in Tungaru (EduKAiT – formerly known as the Australia-Kiribati Literacy and Inclusive Education Program [AusKLIP]) will be the main platform for Australia’s future support to the Government of Kiribati and Ministry of Education (MoE), as it implements the latest Education Sector Strategic Plan (ESSP 2024-27).
The EduKAiT program commenced in October 2023, in parallel to the design process. The EduKAiT design will develop a new Program Logic, new objectives and new ways of working. Indicative End of Program Outcomes may be refined and validated through the design.
The new design will be available in early 2024 and will identify the support to be provided to the Ministry of Education over the coming years.

Role and Responsibilities
The Operations Manager will lead the program operations team, to provide efficient and effective operational support services for the EduKAiT program. This includes providing leadership and contributions to the program finances, travel and logistics, ITC, program planning and reporting, and in human resource management.
The Operations Manager will oversee the EduKAiT Operations Team in their delivery of support to MoE. Reporting to the Team Leader, the Operations Manager will work closely with the Operations and Finance Specialist.
