Job Summary:

Oracle Analyst (ERP and Cloud) - Remote!

The Oracle Financial Analyst is responsible for performing analysis, maintenance, and daily functional support of the Oracle Cloud ERP (AP, AR, FA & GL) and other non-Oracle applications under minimal supervision. This position will work closely with Oracle Solution Architect and Functional (FIN,SCM, HR) personnel to understand business requirements and ensure that developed applications properly function to meet business needs across the organization. The Oracle Applications Analyst will collaborate with functional Finance teams to on key processes to clear exceptions, errors, master data updates, design and execute test scripts and test scenarios in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Roles and Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the utilization and maintenance of the Financials Modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and General Ledger
  • Identify functionality gaps and support the development of solutions
  • Create and maintain existing documentation (configuration, functional specs for reporting and integration)
  • Document new business processes, capabilities and functional requirements.
  • Lead the review and implementation of new functionality in Oracle quarterly releases
  • Provide assistance in key system processes (i.e. process of month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes) as needed.
  • Assist with functional testing of monthly, quarterly and emergency patches
  • Coordinating with the groups of business users who test, validate and evaluate new applications and functions to determine issues in services and software
  • Ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex problems, clearly communicate findings of analysis, and propose solutions that address expressed needs
  • Understand and follow business process methodology including gather business requirements, process flows, use case scenarios and following standards, procedures and guidelines

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or IT or commensurate experience
  • Three to Five years of Relevant experience
  • Experience with Cloud ERP modules (Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets and G/L)
  • Experience with Fusion FBDI templates and related processes to load/stage data
  • Problem solver with the ability to translate qualitative and quantitative information into actionable recommendations
  • Analytical mindset, great at problem solving with the ability to create consensus from diverse perspectives.
  • Have experience in concept development, developing system requirements, performing functional analysis and allocation
  • Ability to synthesize complex problems

  • Experienced people management skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and identify, proactive solutions and implement change in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to foster culture of continuous improvement relating to processes and operational performance across the organization to deliver higher levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Good project management and change management skills with proven ability to coordinate and manage several significant projects at once.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, training, mentoring, and coaching skills

Required Languages - English fluency proficiency required. Working proficiency in French and Spanish desirable.
