Much desired transition to marker economy seemingly gives its fruits in the form of rapid economic growth. However, the rich people become richer and poor people become even poorer.

Values: We believe that Social Progress should lead to improvement of people?s material well-being, social consistency, involvement in policy processes and social justice. Therefore, social development and progress are about equity, empowerment and rights from one side and about social protection and poverty reduction from the other side. It requires not only resources and entitlements, but also transformations in social relations that discriminate against and marginalize certain groups, as well as improvements in the institutions of governance that manage collective concerns at different levels.
Methodology: To achieve our objectives we contribute to policy debate on education, unemployment and social policy in Armenia. We work to reduce poverty, empower local communities to advocate for their rights, educate and coach future generation of leaders. SPF motto is ?advocate, educate, reform, empower?. We join our efforts with likeminded people all over the world since we believe in the power of solidarity.
Issues: Main issues of concentration are human rights, education policy, employment/unemployment, poverty reduction, and social security policies. By using innovative and unique approaches to these problems, the SPF encourages social justice and active citizen participation.
Training: SPF training and consulting services aim to promote social justice through empowerment of local communities and advocacy. SPF provides a variety of trainings and consultations in the areas of its expertise. They include but are not limited to human rights, social partnership, strategic planning, policy analysis, monitoring and evaluation, participatory issue identification methodologies.
