Job Description

The Opportunity

This is a revenue-generating, client-facing leadership role designed for an established expert who thrives at the intersection of business development, management consulting, and deep technical expertise in corporate sustainability and climate change.

As a Partner, you will:

  • Build and expand a powerful network of client relationships across listed companies, investment funds (linking to ERM’s M&A practice), and key sectors such as infrastructure, chemicals, and energy.
  • Lead organisations through complex strategy, performance management, and sustainability reporting challenges, helping them navigate and excel in today’s evolving regulatory and market landscape.
  • Collaborate with ERM’s global experts in climate change, nature, social performance, and more to craft innovative, tailored solutions that accelerate clients’ sustainability journeys.
  • Drive thought leadership and service excellence by partnering with our US-based reporting team and The Shelton Group, enhancing our market-leading reporting and communications offerings.
  • Shape the future of ERM by recruiting and mentoring the next generation of sustainability leaders, ensuring our continued growth and impact.

What You Bring to the Table

  • A proven track record in business development and client relationship management within sustainability or related sectors.
  • Strong consulting and leadership skills, with experience leading high-performing teams.
  • Solid technical knowledge of corporate sustainability frameworks, operational risk, and EHS management solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing abilities to inspire clients and colleagues alike.
  • A passion for driving positive environmental and social impact, balanced with commercial acumen.
