The Population Council seeks a dynamic, engaging, and strategic President who will build on its historic success. They will enhance the Council’s profile, articulating a clear and compelling strategy for the organization internally and externally, while nurturing the global staff and community.
This is an extraordinary opportunity for an influential leader to play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of underserved populations around the world. The next President will be an inspiring, collaborative, and results-oriented leader with a passionate commitment to the potential and history of the Council. They will bring to the role a recognized degree of operational excellence, fundraising ability, intellectual breadth, convening power, emotional intelligence, and practical experience within the nonprofit, governmental, and/or business sectors.
