Duties and Responsibilities: The Private Enterprise Officer will serve as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Product Manager in the PSE Hub. This position plays a key role in supporting the Agency’s approach to create the institutional conditions, operating infrastructure, and capacity necessary to expand engagement with the private sector in the United States and partner countries.
The incumbent will serve as the business-owner product, compliance, and system manager for Campfire, USAID’s new enterprise-wide CRM platform for private sector and philanthropic partners.
As the Private Enterprise Officer, you will:
- Maintain knowledge of the Bureau for Management, Office of the Chief Information Officer (M/CIO) and United States Government (USG)-wide policies and good practices related to incident response, user experience and user interface, strategic management of Authorizations to Operate (ATOs);
- Coordinate with M/CIO and USAID Helpdesk to provide timely response to non-technical questions and requests from users, such as those pertaining to data or the use of system features;
- Serve as System Owner for system of records notice (SORN) related to Campfire data collections, and works with M/CIO to update and maintain SORN as necessary;
- Serve as internal CRM thought and practice leader, and represents USAID within various USG-wide communities of practice related to Salesforce, enterprise CRM, and others as appropriate; and
- Develop, manage, and maintain regular channels for gathering feedback from frontline users, and coordinate with M/CIO to prioritize requests for new features, functionalities, and system enhancements based on user input.
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen;
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance;
- Hands-on enterprise customer relationship management experience in a business analyst and/or product/system manager role (Salesforce proficiency is highly preferred but not required); and
- To qualify for the position of Private Enterprise Officer FL-0301-02, you must possess the required specialized experience specific to the series and grade you are applying to:
- Serving as principal system compliance lead and business analyst, collecting, managing, and reporting on key system value and performance metrics, including user satisfaction, data value, and more;
- Overseeing continuous monitoring of Compass data and documentation for engagements and strategic external partner relationships to ensure completeness, compliance, and value for users and the Agency;
- Developing policies, procedures, and operating procedures as needed to incentivize, reinforce, and where appropriate, mandate system use and compliance by key user groups around the Agency; and
- Managing system and future system enhancements in accordance with the Bureau for Management, Office of the Chief Information Officer and United States Government standards for: accessibility and Section 508 compliance, cyber security, information assurance and privacy, and more. Ensuring rigorous adherence to USAID policies regarding the protection of personally identifiable information and data security.
