Private Sector Engagement Specialist
Management Training Corporation, an international development organization that specializes in workforce development, is seeking Private Sector Engagement Specialist candidates for the anticipated USAID/Georgia Industry-Led Skills Development Program. This new activity will provide support to Georgia in developing industry-relevant human capacity that will contribute to high-value employment opportunities and increased economic competitiveness. The activity will work closely with the Georgian government, education and training institutions, and the private sector to strengthen access to high-quality skills development training curricula that is aligned to the needs of industries and enhances the competitiveness of Georgian-based enterprises in local, regional and global markets.
Position Description:
The Private Sector Engagement Specialist will work in partnership with the senior leadership team to lead outreach to Georgian private sector counterparts. S/he will lead partnership development and serve as a relationship manager throughout project implementation.
Qualifications:
● Degree in business, law, economics, or other relevant subjects related to the project.
● At least 7 years of experience brokering partnerships between the private sector and the education sector.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to work under pressure with limited guidance.
● Knowledge of technical vocational education and training (TVET) preferred
● Experience in Georgia required.
● Fluency in written and spoken English required.
