Job Description

Oversee the review of the selected DBO contractor’s design for the wastewater treatment plant.

  1. Must establish solid understanding of the principles of waste water treatment processes and their application.
  2. Provide technical leadership to the PMC and Contractor to ensure client’s quality requirements are met by demonstrating creativity, foresight and mature engineering judgment
  3. Provide technical review and advice for this complex and unique assignment
  4. Applies diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  5. Supervises the work of engineers on the projects (s) including providing technical guidance and reviewing work and results.
  6. Provide major contribution to fostering client relationships
  7. Evaluate plant operations: assures proper adjustment of plant processes; coordinates sampling operations to assure proper balance of treatment steps and meeting effluent requirements; ensures the proper conduct of laboratory tests performed by operation staff.
  8. Supervises plant maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of equipment; verifies proper implementation of plant preventive maintenance plan as well as the work order issuance for any corrective maintenance whenever required.
  9. Evaluate operations and activities of assigned responsibilities. Recommend improvements and modifications whenever required.
  10. Ensure Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policy is adequately implemented.
  11. Local Staff trainings and appraisal/s supervision.
  12. Assist the client in all Process Engineering Matters related to WTP or WWTP

Candidates must have:

Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering

  • 20 Years relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of DB docs for WWTP
  • WWTP required
  • Background in multidisciplinary facility design with project management experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills required to foster client relationships and managing project teams.
  • Demonstrate outstanding oral and written communication skills, aimed both at technical and administrative teams.
