Key Role:
Work under the guidance of the senior international experts to improve expertise and knowledge of government and public procurement staff in a sustainable approach by teaching formal classes and delivering ongoing mentoring services to personnel in an array of topics-related to modern Indonesian government and public procurement methods and laws. Develop and refine curriculum, prepare training plans, and deliver core procurement training programs in basic, intermediate, and advanced levels. Evaluate continually training program effectiveness, assist with identifying ways to continually improve learning and delivery of training, meet with procurement staff in their work locations reviewing ongoing training programs, learning, and expertise development needs they may have, and review and discuss current procurements being worked on and ways they may be able to assist them as a mentor for these procurements. Facilitate information sharing and analytic outreach with government procurement professionals developing collaborative and impactful relationships among regions and the procurement Community of Practice (COP). Keep detailed logs and digital journals of all activity and submit detailed travel expense reports for all activity. Teach classes in Bahasa Indonesia and assist with translating materials from English to Bahasa Indonesia. This position requires travel to different locations throughout Indonesia for training delivery purpose.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with new and modern procurement methods
-Experience with the government or private-sector procurement, including joined by new and modern perspectives
-Experience with facilitation and presentation
-Ability to demonstrate Bahasa Indonesia and English language proficiency
-Ability to demonstrate high level computer and IT proficiency
-Ability to attend and pass a training delivery certification program and mentoring delivery training program
-Ability to demonstrate legal authorization to work in Indonesia on a full-time basis for an indefinite period of time
-BA or BS degree or 6+ years of experience with a public or large private sector procurement function in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with adult education
-Experience with modern and innovative training methodologies and modalities
-Experience with learning and practice new and modern training and learning techniques
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in Procurement or Finance
