This position is located in the Washington, DC Commuting Area within the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Duties:
- Serves as a strategic liaison and provider of technical expertise for staff care support and safety planning services for BHA personnel worldwide by providing one on one support to staff in navigating the processes for reporting, staff care services.
- Advise supervisors and managers on processes and procedures related to harassment and staff care issues, providing guidance and support in addressing issues.
- Collaborate with BHA trainers to plan, deliver and/or facilitate trainings and discussions related to staff care topics.
- Lead strategic internal and executive communications efforts across the Bureau and Agency, specifically related to Bureau anti-harassment initiatives and goals, to ensure broad understanding.
- Maintain expert knowledge in current guidance for reporting for each hiring mechanism and exercise independent judgment to determine best practices for staff care programs.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding procedures, issues, and criteria related to responses, victim advocacy and workplace misconduct prevention and response initiatives.
