We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Operations team in our London office.
This role will be focused on assisting with the overall financial management of various assigned international projects, as the ones described below.
The UK Department for International Development (DFID) has selected EST to co-manage a framework programme focused on the off-grid appliance market development in Africa and South Asia. The LEIA programme aims to support the market to halve the cost and double the efficiency of a range of off- and weak-grid appliances. The LEIA programme, which started in October 2017, has an £18m budget over 5 years, working with partner organisation CLASP. CLASP is an evolving, international, non-profit organisation with offices, programmes and projects around the world.
EST also manages a number of EU Horizon2020 funded projects covering a range of topics, including product labelling, energy efficiency policy and renewables.
You will be a confident individual with an interest in energy efficiency and policy or international development. You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager to track actual financial performance against forecast, as shown in EST’s financial systems, invoice the client, record all spends accurately across the projects, and report this information accurately and regularly.
Your ability to plan and prioritise multiple competing activities in this fast-paced international environment will underpin the successful delivery of this role.
We are loking for someone who is motivated and has a keen interest in energy access.
