Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent is under the direct supervision of UNICs Director and/or the National Information Officer (NIO). He or she reports to the NIO of UNIC Mexico. The internship is UNPAID. The Interns must cover full-time working hours, for 6 months - 35 hours per week.
With limits of delegated authority, the intern will be responsible for one or more of the following duties:
Qualifications/special skills
a. Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or,
b. Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelors level or equivalent).
No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Your training, education, advance course work or skills should benefit the United Nations during your internship.
Languages
English and Spanish are the working languages of the UN Secretariat. For this position, fluency in oral and written Spanish is required. Fluency in English is desirable.
Additional Information
Applicants must have good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
Applicants must have good knowledge of multimedia production programmes, such as Adobe suite Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Capcut, Canvas or related.

Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
Interns who are not citizens or permanent residents of the country where the internship is undertaken, may be required to obtain the appropriate visa and work/employment authorization. Successful candidates should discuss their specific visa requirements before accepting the internship offer.
No Fee
