Functional responsibilities
Lead quality assurance activities
Create and maintain test plans, strategies, and documentation
Functional, regression, and integration testing
Stress testing and performance validation
Develop and maintain automated test scripts
Provide regular QA metrics
Proactively identify quality risks, process improvements, and opportunities to enhance system reliability
Understand product
Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to clarify requirements
Analyse functional requirements, wireframes, designs, and technical documentation
Read the application source code
Technical Support
Provide tier-1 and tier-2 support
Conduct root cause analysis
Maintain knowledge base and technical documentation for common issues
Act as primary technical liaison between end-users and developers
User training and preparing training materials
Leads quality assurance activities in UNWB
Provides tier-1 and tier-2 technical support to UNWB end users
Handles user training
Education/Experience/Language requirements
2 years of professional experience in a QA role (in combination with a Bachelor’s degree); 4 years of professional experience in a QA role (in combination with a technical/professional diploma) is required;
The above should include at least 1 year of working with complex, enterprise-level web applications
At least 1 year of providing technical support, including training to end users
Working knowledge of
HTTP protocol
API testing and test automation, including developing and maintaining automated test scripts
SQL
Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Writing skills to prepare training materials and other forms of documentation
Any programming language and the ability to read and understand JavaScript and C# code
QA certification from an accredited organisation (QAI, IIST, ASTQB, ISTQB)
Desirable Experience:
Experience working in projects related to e-commerce, procurement or logistics
