Job Description
JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI) is a public health research and consulting organization dedicated to improving the health of underserved people and communities in the U.S. and worldwide. JSI has implemented projects in over 100 countries, and currently operates from eight U.S. and more than 60 international offices. We work in partnership with government and organization experts to improve quality, access, and equity of health systems worldwide. We collaborate with government agencies, the private sector, and local nonprofit organizations to achieve change in communities and health systems.
The Reproductive Health National Training Center works to address the needs of Title X family planning service grantees and providers and Teen Pregnancy Prevention grantees and program staff. To help hundreds of grantees across the country to address complex clinical, financial and administrative requirements related to preconception health services, maternal mortality and morbidity prevention, fertility preservation and promotion, and infertility prevention, JSI is seeking highly qualified and experienced consultants with the one or more of the following skills to assist the JSI team in program activities from October 1, 2023 onwards:
- Technical writing and editing expertise and experience specializing in sexual and reproductive health and maternal health services;
- Video production and design including 2D Animator, Video Editing, Director, Sound Editor;
- Expertise related to the Title X and/or TPP program requirements, regulations and expectations and maternal health;
- Technical expertise, and resource development / facilitation experience on organizational development related to staff engagement and retention in the reproductive health field;
- Counseling skills for sexual and reproductive health care providers that are client-centered, equitable, and trauma informed.
