CNFA is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Research and Data Collection Officer for the Quality Technologies Revitalizing Agriculture (Q’tra). The purpose of this USAID Activity will be to work with farmers in the West Bank and Gaza (WBG) to improve climate-resilient conservation and management of freshwater resources and associated ecosystems by increasing the availability, quality, and environmental resilience of drinking water supply sources. The duration of this Activity spans four years, from October 2023 to September 2027.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the MEL Director, the Research and Data Collection Officer supports the data collection and documentation needed for the projects. Data collection will involve fields and virtual data collection for project applicants, participants, and stakeholders. This includes ensuring effective and timely communications and coordination within the project team to collect quality data that can contribute to promoting project objectives, achievements, and activities to USAID and relevant public, private, and non-profit actors. The incumbent will maintain database for data collection, ensure data cleaning according to approved protocols, ensure quality data collection through cross checking and triangulations.
