Job Description: • Design and prepare financial reports to meet client needs or to address audit inquiries.
• Analyze and resolve reconciliation issues related to material field advance balances.
• Analyze the status of ended projects and support the process of pre-final and final invoice submission.
• Ad-hoc analysis and recommendation of cost, revenue and billing adjustments as a result of Client funding reviews, questioned costs, payment disputes, third party refunds, project financial closedown.
• Provide financial management guidance and DAI financial systems training to HQ and field project management staff.
• Troubleshoot and correct accounting, reporting and system (Oracle) errors. Identify missing and incomplete documentation and coordinate accordingly with the different stakeholders to ensure correct and timely completion.
• Implement Oracle project setup changes ensuring that external and internal client requirements are met.
• Assist with the analysis of the impact of potential indirect rate adjustments.
• Assist with the monthly analysis of project revenues. Analyze and explain material budget to actual variances in project profitability.


Basic Qualifications: • Advanced degree in Accounting; CPA certification is a plus.
• Five to seven years of accounting experience, including a minimum of two years of government contracting.
• Experience with Oracle accounting package:
– Possess deep experience using Oracle Projects in a Federal government environment
– Two to five years of functional/business experience in Oracle Project setup and maintenance, project tracking and reporting, project closure/rollup, and project accounting.
– Two to five years of end-user experience with Oracle Projects (Projects, Project Costing, and Project Billing) including day-to-day operations and optimization/customizations.
– Understanding of other Oracle E-Business Suite Applications and their integration with the Oracle Projects applications.
– Experience with R12 a plus

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully interact and work at all levels within the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize and complete multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to DAI’s international projects.
