Devex Talent Solutions is assisting UNDOS in identifying candidates for their Senior Women Talent Pipeline (SWTP).
The Senior Women Talent Pipeline is a career programme and Pipeline under the UN Department of Operational Support aimed at promoting gender parity at senior level through a dedicated talent pool of qualified female candidates for P5, D1 and D2 level positions in UN Peace Operations.
Since its establishment in 2014, no less than 57 appointments have been made of members of the SWTP for senior level positions in the UN at P5 to USG levels. The Senior Women Talent Pipeline (SWTP) at the Department of Operational Support (DOS) is the UN Secretariat’s flagship project aimed at increasing gender parity among senior level (P5- D2) civilian staff in UN field missions
The Application process
Candidates nominated or applying for the SWTP will undergo a competitive assessment process. This will include: written application with description of motivation and job fit questions followed by an assessment of qualified candidates and a review by senior UN officials. Inclusion in the SWTP does not guarantee selection for a job and candidates will have to apply for relevant senior vacancies as they are advertised.
Requirements for applying to the SWTP
Once selected, members of the SWTP may benefit from the following services
How can the SWTP help support you?
The SWTP provides personalized support to members as they apply for senior positions through the UN Staff Selection System and tailored training opportunities to make members more competitive in the recruitment process. The Pipeline currently includes a regionally diverse pool of about 260 women leaders and candidates for senior positions.
More details on the Senior Women Talent Pipeline can be found via the SWTP webpage.
