PROJECT OVERVIEW
Through our Social Factory project, we operate two tailoring ateliers in Greece and Turkey, providing women on the move with formal employment and integrating them into a social network. We also offer tailoring courses to help the women learn the basics of sewing and introduce them to the world of textiles. This empowers these women with valuable skills, opening up job opportunities and financial independence for themselves and their families.
Our Social Factory takes on both social and ecological responsibility. We work with upcycled materials saved from dumpsters and waste, as well as sustainable fabrics from the textile industry. Each of our products tells the story of the women who make them, raising awareness about the challenges and living conditions of women on the move.
