SEEKING:

STATISTICAL SPECIALIST/ANALYST IN EDUCTAION

for a potential

Systems approach school leadership-teacher-parent relationships and/or high-quality skills development based research

SOUTH AFRICA

Consultant is required to have:

1. Relevant Master’s degree
2. Strong research and/or evaluation experience, including quantitative skills
3. Extensive experience in undertaking research in one or more of the following areas:

• School leadership-teacher-parent relationships to achieve positive education outcomes
• The role of high-quality skills development system in a dynamic economy
• The capacity to address issues of technology and/or disability

1. In-depth understanding of social and economic development challenges in South Africa
2. Knowledge of systemic nature of development challenges plus the potential role of systems thinking in addressing development challenges
3. Technical capacity to conduct research in the proposed areas indicated above (including specific capacity related to either technology and disability)
4. Track record of conducting research of a simlr nature
5. Residence preferably South Africa
6. Be a consultant who can be available for a short-term consultancy
