Strategic Partnerships Lead- Healthcare Electrification and Telecommunications Alliance

The Opportunity

As the Strategic Partnerships Lead for the Health Electrification and Telecommunications Alliance (HETA), you will play a key leadership role in driving private sector engagement and partnerships that generates leverage (either cash or in-kind) required to achieve the Alliance’s goals of and other Abt initiatives. You will engage with and persuade private sector partners to support the alliance and cultivate long-term relationships with identified partners. To be successful you will have a deep commitment to partnership development and management and achieving impact through partnerships.

Core Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of HETA’s private sector engagement strategy to increase its reach and drive results through partnerships, including researching relevant trends and funding sources, and developing tailored pitch decks and value propositions
• Develop and deliver persuasive presentations to potential private sector organizations on the mutual benefits of joining the Alliance and contributing to its mission
• Partner with Abt’s corporate marketing deportment to develop HETA marketing materials to ensure they appeal to potential corporate and other private sector partners
• Conduct regular follow-up and foster strong relationships with private sector entities to increase understanding and visibility of HETA’s work and benefits to engaging with the Alliance.

What We Value

• Level 4: Bachelor’s Degree + 9 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + 7 years of relevant experience
• Level 5: Bachelor’s Degree + 12 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + 10 years of relevant experience
• MBA preferred
• Understanding of business metrics, ROI and partnership modalities
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required, to meet with potential partners. Travel may be up to 20%.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with executive leadership to achieve program objectives
• Demonstrated success in identifying and cultivating partnerships to generate funds to support SDGs or other social goods
• Strong relationship building skills and entrepreneurial and creative approach to partner engagement
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately $95,000 to $150,000, and may vary by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis.
