Who are we and what will you be a part of?
DRC Danish Refugee Council organizes voluntary integration work throughout Denmark, where more than 5,500 volunteers are responsible for activities that will give refugees and people with ethnic minority backgrounds the opportunity to take an active part in Danish society through access to networks, language and advice. The student will, together with a Regional Consultant, be responsible for the coordination of two everyday advice services in Aarhus Municipality, which are run by 42 fantastic volunteers who help citizens with practical and digital challenges in everyday life. This can include, among other things, understanding letters from the municipality and other authorities and help with using MitID, E-boks and other digital solutions.
Your tasks
As the student assistant, you will be the coordinator for the volunteer everyday counselors at two locations in Aarhus C, and support the volunteer everyday counselors so that they can best carry out their task for the benefit of refugees and citizens with an ethnic minority background. Accession and terms
The student job is 10 hours/week. We expect to hold interviews on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Joining is as soon as possible thereafter. The position is limited in time to December 31, 2026. You will be part of a small local office community at Olof Palmes Allé 35, 8200 Aarhus N.
