About the programme
The Rule of Law for Business Programme (ROLB) is a major three-year programme to be launched by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Its objective is to improve commercial dispute resolution, strengthen intellectual property protection, increase certainty for foreign investors, stem illicit capital flows and money laundering, and improve product standards. It aims to do this by reforms to the regulation, administration and judicial oversight in these areas, by building the capacity of Chinese counterpart institutions, and promoting UK-China knowledge transfer.
We’re looking for high quality consultants who share our values and are interested in collaborating with the PwC network as we prepare to bid for the programme.

Above all we need people who are able to deliver high quality consulting services, build and sustain relationships and give you the authority and credibility to influence decision-making in this field. You must be a good writer and communicator, have good commercial acumen, professional curiosity and a willingness to share experience and tackle problems in an innovative way.
The package
We offer short term consultancy contracts at competitive rates, with the possibility to extend based on performance. You may be based in Beijing, undertaking provincial travel according to programme priorities, or undertake regular travel to China from your home country. Your accommodation and international travel will be included as part of this package, and we will agree with you an appropriate rotation pattern.
