Oxford Policy Management (OPM) is preparing to tender for a new Education Systems Strengthening Programme to support the implementation of the Government of Myanmar’s National Education Strategic Plan (NESP).
Myanmar is seeking to move its basic education system away from rote learning towards inculcating skills relevant for the 21st century, and has embarked on ambitious reforms to student curriculum and teacher training. This new Education Programme will support this transformation over the next few years with a focus on reforming assessment systems and pedagogy in basic education.
Role:
We are seeking a Technical Team Leader for this complex Education Systems Strengthening Programme who will be based in either Yangon or Nay Pyi Daw. The Team Leader will provide technical leadership to this programme, working closely with the OPM Programme Director based in Yangon (who will retain final accountability for results).
