The International Trade Centre (ITC) is a joint agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization supporting the internationalization of SMEs in developing and transition countries.
The Trade and Market Intelligence Section (TMI) provides SMEs, policymakers, trade support institutions, and enterprises with market intelligence tools, trade-related policy analyses, and capacity-building activities.
ITC’s market analysis tools include Market Access Map (MAcMap), which allows users to access, compare, analyze, and download information on customs duties, trade remedies, and non-tariff measures applicable to goods in any market worldwide.
MSMEs in developing countries face challenges from regulatory requirements (e.g., NTMs, sanitary and phytosanitary standards) and trade remedies (e.g., anti-dumping duties, countervailing duties, safeguard measures).
