Politikberatung zu verantwortungsvollen Rohstofflieferketten und guter Rohstoffgovernance ist die Kernaufgabe des Sektorvorhabens Rohstoffe und Entwicklung IV. Gemeinsam mit der Bundesanstalt für Geowissenschaften und Rohstoffe (BGR) unterstützt das Programm das Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) sowohl bei kurzfristigen Anfragen zu tagesaktuellen Themen als auch bei der Analyse von Trends in der nationalen und internationalen Debatte zur Versorgungssicherheit mit Rohstoffen. Dies beinhaltet auch die Beratung zu und Repräsentation in internationalen Initiativen im Rohstoffsektor. Das Vorhaben entwickelt darüber hinaus neue Ansätze und Instrumente zu verantwortungsvollen Rohstofflieferketten in Kooperation mit internationalen Partnern und den Auslandsvorhaben der deutschen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit.
Ihre Aufgaben
Inhaltliche und organisatorische Unterstützung in den verschiedenen Themenarbeitsbereichen des Sektorvorhabens, insbesondere im Bereich Menschenrechte und unternehmerische Verantwortung in Rohstofflieferketten Unterstützung bei der Beratung des BMZ zu EU-Gesetzgebungsprozessen sowie Analyse und Auswertung der Umsetzung bereits in Kraft getretener Gesetze (z.B. Deutsches Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz; sog. EU-Konfliktminerale-Verordnung; sog. EU-Batterie-Verordnung)
Konzeptionelle Zuarbeit bei der Erstellung von Sachständen, Berichten, Hintergrundinformationen Analyse von aktuellen völkerrechtlichen Publikationen im Bereich der RohstoffgovernanceMöglichkeit der (virtuellen) Teilnahme an relevanten Fachveranstaltungen sowie Terminen mit externen Partnern
Ihr Profil erforderliche Kriterien / required criteria
Sie haben das Erste Juristische Staatsexamen erfolgreich bestanden und befinden sich im juristischen Vorbereitungsdienst (Rechtsreferendariat)
Sie beherrschen Englisch verhandlungssicher in Wort und Schrift
Sie sind motiviert, teamfähig und können sich schnell in neue Themen einarbeiten
wünschenswerte Kriterien / desirable criteria
weitere Fremdsprachenkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
Sie haben ein ausgeprägtes Interesse an den Themenfeldern Wirtschaft und Menschenrechte, Nachhaltigkeitsstandards oder im

We also give young people a chance to gain professional experience around the world – exchange programmes for young professionals lay the foundations for successful careers in national and international markets.
Who we work for
Most of our activities are commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). GIZ also operates on behalf of other German ministries – in particular the Federal Foreign Office, the Federal Environment Ministry and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research – as well as German federal states and municipalities, and public and private sector clients both in Germany and abroad. These include the governments of other countries, the European Commission, the United Nations and the World Bank.
