Door Beyond War works to bring peace to Syria through entrepreneurial training and support that includes market research insights, one-on-one coaching, economic plans, and microfinance. One such initiative is the 4City program, a platform that uses revolving funds to provide Syrian entrepreneurs access to microloans.
The organization also engages in community development activities, such as supporting local and international advocacy efforts, youth engagement, and community social projects. For instance, the SAY platform — a joint project with Youth for Change Network — enables young leaders to oversee the electoral process using knowledge, skills, and resources from established NGOs.
Despite the constant challenge of working amid conflict, Door Beyond War has established a structured network of 22 local development committees, which collaborate with over 60 voluntary teams and community-based organizations. The network has spearheaded seven collaborative initiatives encompassing 166 activities across seven thematic areas, all with significant community contributions.
