The International Monetary Fund will receive financing from three European nations. Belgium has offered some USD6.4 billion for the fund, while Malta and Slovakia will jointly provide USD765 million. The financing, Dow Jones Newswires reports, forms part of the European Union’s USD178 billion funding boost to help IMF mitigate the impacts of the global economic crisis.
