3ie’s Open Window 4 accepting proposals for impact evaluations

The International Initiative for Impact Evaluations, or 3ie, an organization that aims to improve lives through the effective use of evidence in development programs, is now accepting proposals for impact evaluations of social and economic development interventions in low and middle-income countries.

Preference will be given to proposed studies that:

Open Window 4 is open to proposals in any sector. 3ie will make six to 10 awards of up to a total value of $4 million. There is no maximum size for individual grants.

The deadline for submission of expressions of interest is at 11:59 p.m. GMT on June 24, 2012. If the expression of interest is accepted, the full proposal must be submitted by August 6, 2012. All applications must be submitted using 3ie’s online grant management system.
