    The Commission on Growth and Development accepts that the 2008 Growth Report may spark controversies. Its endorsement of special trade preferences for Africa has such potential, says Danny Leipziger.

    The Commission on Growth and Development accepts that the 2008 Growth Report may spark controversies. Its endorsement of special trade preferences for Africa has such potential, says World Bank Vice President Danny Leipziger, the panel's vice chair. Another is the commission's call for coordination between nations on pressing issues such as climate change and migration.
