has approved USD100 million in loans to help Sri Lanka improve its wastewater system. Approximately USD80 million of the loan package was drawn from the bank's ordinary capital resources while the remaining USD20 million is from ADB's concessional fund. The sum will be used to improve the sewerage system in Colombo and the government's capacity to manage assets and finances, monitor operations, provide customer service, and implement regulations.
