ADB Helps Mongolia Build New Container Terminal

Mongolia expects to receive a USD45 million assistance package from the Asian Development Bank for the construction of a logistic facility that is expected to expand and speed up the flow of trade in the country.

The package, which comprises a grant and a loan, will be used for the Regional Logistic Development Project, which will build a container terminal with rail and road links in a poor and isolated desert area along Mongolia’s southeast border with China.
