Stephen Groff is the Asian Development Bank’s new vice president for Operations 2, in charge of the bank’s East and Central Asia Department, Southeast Asia Department, Pacific Department, and Central Operation Services Office.
Groff currently serves as deputy director for development cooperation of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. He is also OECD’s representative to the G-20 Working Group on Development and is part of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council.
Groff succeeds C. Lawrence Greenwood Jr., who stepped down as ADB vice president on May 26.
