The African Development Bank is preparing a new country strategy for Botswana, which will map out the bank's budget support, loans and investment for the nation from 2009 to 2013. The regional lender,
reported, is looking at backing infrastructure investments to boost the country's energy, transport and water sectors by utilizing direct project investments by private firms, lines of credit to local development finance institutions and public private-partnerships.
