The African Development Bank issued EUR1 million ($1.27 million) to increase access to water and sanitation service in Uganda. The project, according to AfDB Resident Representative Mukaila A. Ojelade, forms part of the African Water Facility, an initiative designed to meet the Millennium Development Goals. It will involve nine districts in Kampala, Ojelade added.
