China opened Aug. 16 a research center for Sino-African economic and trade cooperations. The China-Africa Research Center was established by the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation. It aims to provide a theoretical basis for the Chinese government’s Africa-related decision-making and consultation services for firms seeking to invest in Africa, Xinhua reports.
