Erica Belanger is an advocacy adviser at the International Planned Parenthood Federation, leading on issues related to family planning advocacy. She has over 10 years' experience in international development, and has been working to increase financial and political support for sexual and reproductive health and rights for the past eight years. She is an experienced advocate and fundraiser in the areas of peace building and sexual and reproductive health and rights, and successfully mobilized over $85 million to support SRHR country programming. Currently, she works in partnership with Advance Family Planning to link global policy trends and opportunities to national and subnational level advocacy interventions. She holds an undergraduate degree in political science and international development studies from McGill University, and a master of arts in peace and conflict studies.
