As chair and CEO of the Hayel Saeed Anam Group, Abdul Gabbar Hayel Saeed leads the multinational conglomerate’s business operations across its core markets. He became CEO in 2010 and took office in 2013, having held the positions of senior director of HSA Group’s regional office in Hodeidah and head of the industrial division of HSA Group in Yemen. Throughout his career, he has held a number of high-profile board positions, including chair of the Yemen Chamber of Commerce, president of the Yemenite Industrial Association, and chair of Tadhamon Capital, Bahrain. Gabbar holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Cairo University.
