
Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo
Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo is president of the Democratic Republic of Congo. His 2019 inauguration marked the first peaceful transfer of power in the DRC since independence. He served as the 19th chairperson of the African Union from 2021 to 2022. His administration has focused on economic growth, investment in education and health care, and addressing the ongoing security crisis in eastern DRC.
