Irina von Wiese was a U.K. member of the European Parliament and vice-chair of the Human Rights Subcommittee from May 2019 to January 2020. She also served on the Foreign Affairs, Liberty Justice and Home Affairs, and Petitions Committee and was elected member of the Executive Committee and Board of Governors of the European Endowment for Democracy. Her special interest is in migration and refugee issues.
